Welcome to Nadine Loves Paper, where you will find thoughtful and whimsical cards, prints, paper craft kits, gifts & painted vintage china, all designed for joyful moments.
My name is Nadine Guerlain and I am the illustrator, designer and maker behind Nadine Loves Paper. I work from my home studio in Dublin, Ireland, where I draw, design, print and make all my pieces.
I create cards and prints filled with sweet illustrations and thoughtful messages for you to gift to your favourite people, or keep and bring a smile to your day.
I also design paper craft kits with a touch of nostalgia to bring children, and grown ups too, little moments of mindfulness and creative joy.
I absolutely love nostalgia, vintage and retro design. One of my favourite things to do is thrifting vintage china plates and tea cups which I then paint with porcelain paints to create decorative wall plates, trinket dishes and cute tea sets.
I am also very much a cat person, and you will find a lot of cat designs here, from cards to craft kits and painted china too. Though a few cute dachshunds and corgis have found their way into my heart and my illustrations too!
Kindness, connection and creating joyful moments are all very important to me, especially when we are all so busy, and the world around us can feel so hard.
A few years ago, as I reflected on the amazing friends I am lucky to have, I wrote them each a little message about what I find so uniquely wonderful about them. These later became a series of cards and prints, and I love that my customers now connect with them and choose them for their own amazing friends and favourite people.
This idea of making people smile with a card, a sweet message, a pretty illustration or a cute and thoughtful gift, is the thread that runs through Nadine Loves Paper and one of the big reasons I love what I do.
I also want to create designs that are mindful of our planet. I create products with sustainable materials, such as the beautiful textured recycled Italian card I use for my cards and prints. I work with local suppliers with a proven sustainability ethos who offer certified eco friendly materials, and I use recycled and compostable packaging, because beautiful design is even more beautiful when it is sustainable.
